1943 World War II Era Living Room

by Armstrong Cork Company

This rich claret red (almost fuschia), black, and green scheme is very bold and very modern. Even if pinks don't thrill you, this room is interesting and surprisingly appealing. One can envision it in a Manhattan apartment, an inviting haven from the outside world, where life was normal and rationing and shortages weren't a concern for its inhabitants.

The following colors are used (top to bottom):

Rose

Claret

Palest Gray

Black

Light Putty

Spring Leaf Green

Birch

Taupe
