1939 Armstrong Linoleum
This ad for Armstrong linoleum appeared in Ladies Home Journal. Though many of the Armstrong ads looked almost like you could move right in, this one appears slightly more staged. It still doesn't detract from the attractive rust, pale yellow, and sage green scheme with black accents. The rattan furniture was a modern update of the wicker furniture that had been popular from before the turn of the century through the 1920s.
