Unlike Foursquares of the previous decade with their separate entry hall, this 1925 Bowes interpretation incorporates the open floor plan of the bungalow and opens directly into the living room, which takes up half of the main floor to create a single large living area. With its small 576 sq. ft. footprint, this plan manages to provide three bedrooms and a bath as well as main living area. Best of all, the Foursquare was economical to build.
