Design No. 607

1915 by Hewitt-Lea-Funck Company of Seattle, Washington

A symmetrical Craftsman-style cottage form that was popular during the 1910s is represented by Plan 607, which similar to a 1918 Gordon-Van Tine plan. Three bright bedrooms, kitchen, and dining room wrap the living room on three sides, which with the inset entry must have made the living room rather dark, though some light would have been cast by the dining room windows. In other models the living room runs the depth of the house with windows on either end.
