The Cranford, like many early 20th century houses, was designed to be reasonably attractive from all sides. As a result, when necessary, the home could be set on the lot end-wise, much as shown here, with a walk way down the side of the house. Plantings on arbors with strategically placed fences and gates, drew visitors in and welcomed owners home. The Cranford is a traditional Colonial Revival with four bedrooms, one bath, and a formal floorplan.
