The Danby
1928 Home Builders Catalog
Another modernized Colonial in the 1928 catalog was the Danby. Using red face brick and white trim with a green roof, this was calculated to appeal to middle-class home buyers with traditional values. With three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms, it would have comfortably housed a 1920s family. Adding a second bathroom at the end of the master bedroom would have been a logical update.
