The Haddon
1929 Home Builders Catalog
The Haddon was not a big house but it did manage a reasonable number of amenities for 1929. It has three bedrooms and one and a half baths. The large "master" has a walk-in closet and door directly into the bath creating a suite, which was relatively unusual for smaller homes. A tiny nook with French doors is right off the kitchen. It an interesting and unusual plan with uncommon interior spaces. On the exterior, a prominent chimney with chimney pots, a half-timbered wall dormer, and fairytale entry makes it easy to describe this as a storybook style.
