1916 Journal Bungalows
This bungalow plan by Dernier is similar to some of the plans shows in the Sears plan books like the Ashmore or the Aladdin Plaza. This plan features a music room that with minimal modification could easily serve as another bedroom or home office. Because this plan has little extra storage space on the main floor, a basement for mechanical systems would have optimized the package. While we love the exterior, there are a number of changes that would make this plan function more efficiently such as having the dining room open to the porch.
