In 600 square feet, the Howard offered two bedrooms and a bath in 1930 for the budget cost of $1104. The rooms are tiny with the living room just over 10 feet square. That was mitigated somewhat by the line of sight of about 20 feet from the far wall of the dining room to living room. It was probably an ideal first home for many a young couple. For an upgraded version of the same plan, MW offered the Lawndale.
