After World War I, English Cottage homes and the Storybook style, with its distinctive "thatched" composition roofing which was rolled at the eave, became popular. Style 1-A shown in the Morgan catalog is a brick eclectic English Storybook with an open bungalow-style floor plan. It's a small house with just two bedrooms but very cute with nice living spaces. The narrow living room is long and could be broken out into at least two functional areas.
