This small English-style cottage has a number of interesting features that would have appealed to certain buyers. The living-dining room is one large space which would have made it fairly versatile. There is no second bedroom, but there is a "bed closet" which is typical of many of the small Pacific homes. A screened room at the rear of the house would have been pleasant much of the year in Southern California for sleeping or sitting. Breakfast Nook No. 701 is specified as one of the built-in features.
