One of the most interesting aspects of the plans designed by the Radford Company between 1900 and 1910 is the range of "new" designs. Many were influenced by the converging trends in home design including the Arts & Crafts Movement with its English Tudor and cottage elements, and the cutting edge designs of the Chicago School. Design No. 7008 illustrates the recombination of concepts in a two-story house with an open floor plan and a "modern" exterior treatment.
