The Dallas

1924 Argo Summit Lumber Co. Brochure by William A. RAdford Co.

Broad eaves, a hipped roof, and asymmetrical facade combine to create an eclectic Prairie Colonial that must have appealed to the modern traditionalist. It's a somewhat unusual layout with the sun porch off the dining room and access to the master by way of a dressing room. But then, the Radford Company was continually testing new ideas, so the Dallas was a natural extension of their experimentation.
