The Groton is another modern bungalow style home with a standard two-bedroom, one bath layout. The kitchen is small but has a nice walk-in pantry and enclosed back porch. There is no room for a modern refrigerator, but home owners probably relied on an ice box and the deliveries of the milk man, who could place fresh milk, cream, and eggs in the pantry. There's a full basement with a laundry chute so linen and dirty clothes could be tossed to the basement for laundering. It's a tidy small house with thoughtful amenities.
