The Manson

1925 J. C. Simpson Lumber Co. Brochure,
Published by William A. RAdford Co.

The Manson is a pretty little mid-20s home with an interesting gable-on-hip roof, which is somewhat unusual. It has a bracketed hood at the front entrance and a pleasing traditional symmetry that certainly would have been favorably received by a great many home buyers during the 1920s. It's quite a modern house with plenty of cabinets in the large kitchen, and some distance from the living rooms to the bedroom, which would make it quiet in the bedrooms. An open porch off the kitchen would be a pleasant place to have coffee in the morning, too!
