Standing on the landing facing the sun room, you would look across more than 27 feet taking in the living room with its fireplace, window seats, and built-in bookcases to a second window seat in the sun room. Casement windows would admit light and left ajar there would be a pleasant cross-draft. Based on a cube and pyramidal roof, this Foursquare style plan was probably a cost-effective model to manufacture. The flow between rooms made it very functional, too.
