The Elsmore
1923 Sears Roebuck Modern Homes
The Elsmore plan was popular for several years because of its simple, but functional circular floor plan. Unlike a standard bungalow plan which typically opens directly into the living room the entry opens into a reception room. The updated version, with an equally nice layout, is more common to the bungalow layout with a dining room instead of the reception area.
