The Minnetonka design shown in the Stetson & Post catalog is a good example of the modern small house design trends that appeared everywhere during the 1920s. The clipped gable cottage look was popular with almost every home buyer who was looking for an affordable small house. This house is a tiny 600 sf cottage with a single bedroom and bath, but with a bed closet, one could host a guest with minimal inconvenience.
